Working Principle of Cremator / Cremation Furnace
The cremation furnace relies on high-temperature pyrolysis and complete oxidation to turn human remains into bone ash. It features a dual-chamber structure: a primary combustion chamber and a secondary afterburner chamber.
Primary Combustion ChamberAfter the body is loaded into the chamber, burners ignite and raise the internal temperature to 700–900°C. Soft tissues vaporize and burn fully under high heat, while bone minerals are carbonized. Unburned fumes, tar and odor generated in this process flow into the secondary chamber.
Secondary Combustion AfterburnerThis chamber maintains a constant temperature above 850°C with supporting burners. All harmful flue gas, volatile organic compounds and soot from the primary chamber undergo thorough secondary oxidation. Toxic substances and peculiar smells are completely decomposed to avoid black smoke pollution.
Flue Gas Purification & Ash CollectionPurified exhaust passes through a multi-stage flue gas treatment system for dust removal, desulfurization and denitrification before being discharged up to environmental standards. After combustion finishes, residual bone ash falls into the sealed ash collection bin at the furnace bottom for easy recovery.
